cyclists get tickets in Louisville

My friend Paul saw some road biker getting a ticket in Louisville on St. Paddy's day on Bardstown road. Apparently the cop asked for some i.d. and told him he has to obey traffic laws just like everyone else. I think that is okay, now if they would just start convicting those who hit cyclists, run them off the road, throw shit at them, threaten them, etc.

i agree about 90% of the time. cyclist should get tickets for certain stuff. but if i sat at a stop light and i'm just not heavy enough or don't have enough metal to turn a light (how ever those things work) i'm gonna run that thing. Maybe ill get a ticket one day, and i'll just pay it. Then if someone in a car swerves at us, it should be the same offense as someone pulling a gun or a knife out. Just because they didn't stab you or shoot you they still threatened your life with a deadly weapon. If they throw something at you from a moving car i think thats considered a missle, which probably should mean prisson time. Of course the last time i got hit with an egg (in my car thank god) from another car the cop told me to leave!
